Asking the Doc for guidance on steroids.

I would like to go to the doctor and get some basic tests done. Should I tell him that I want to do steroids and if so will he still give me the information I need. Should I go to a specialist about this and if so what type. Any information would help.

not a good idea to bring this up and possibly get it on your medical records.....

and besides 99% of doctors don't know jack shit about proper steroid usage

You'll probably gather more info here than you will anywhere else.. if you want tests done, you can always go to Quest diagnostics or another lab and get them done yourself.

man, you beat me to my reply; DON'T ASK THE DOCTOR HIS ADVICE!!!!!!! I have[had] a close friend that was doc and I figured he would be the safest one to ask; we both worked out, etc. and he knew my medical history. Figured he could give good advise. Well, he did -- AND THEN PUT ALL THAT MOTH**FU**ING INFORMATION IN MY MEDICAL FILE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! In less than a year the insurance company needes some records and when they got that info they cancelled my insurance. Took me 4 months to find another career and then they put disclaimers in about 'not covering any liver damage' and preexisting condition' s***. If you have to ask, find a doctor you dont know and will never see again; give him false name, address, make up a social security number and pay by cash; leave no traceable records for the insurance bastards to trace!!!!!!!

My Dr comes to me for cycle advice.

Docs know about steroids in the capacity that they "are supposed to be used in." better off sticking to books and the internet.

This is good advice. I've done this myself. I wanted treatment at a certain dosage that was not approved but all of the current data showed was the better way to go. So I went to two doctors. I used a fake name for one and told the admit nurse I was going to pay cash and didn't want to give them my ssn because I had been the victum of ID theft already and I didn't give out that information anymore. Evrything was fine when I showed them the money. I laid a few hundred dollars on the counter and "the doctor will see you now."

If you ever get an infection or something like that, Than tell the Doctor as they can't do shit about it but with that said i would not offer any infor that really does not have to be offered

i guess some doctor's are more open minded than others. my doc is one cool ass dude, and i figured i could ask him general questions just to see what he'd say... i literally said "how do u feel about supplementing with tesosterone?" during a convo about weight training and supps.. he replied "absolutely not, testosterone make everything grow, including your heart, so these 30 year old weight lifters who do steroids have the heart of a 70 year old that barely pumps blood anymore." so needless to say i ended that convo quickly so he wouldnt think i was using, cus i know he wouldnt have been supportive and i dont need my insurance to go up or any other kind of bullshit.
