Well isnt the plan to have the posts from usnet (newsgroups) come in to the boards as well. How the hell are they supposed to be moderated? George is making a serious error in judgement in doing this. I used to go on the newsgroups and its a flame fest with malicious personal attacks, trolls galore, spam, and pure garbage every damn day.
Yes its more traffic but I think that fundamental points are being ignored here.

I wonder if you purchased a platinum membership based on the fact you'd be able to read newsgroup posts here, if George would refund your money. Of course, this would have needed to be done when the access was first taken away...buat anyways...You'd have to be an idiot to purchase a membership for that fact alone, since you can read them for free anyways.
