If you believe that everbody is equal then why is it okay for practically everybody on this site to agree that blacks have superior genetics but if you were to say something like whites have a superior intellect you would be slaughtered for it!

I agree with most of your post, especially the last part, however I missed the thread.....as far as having a superior intellect, what's the determining factor? perception? perception has been for the sports....example:

Minorities weren't allowed to play quarterback in the nfl, because they couldn't think, or they weren't smart enough to handle the position. Why do you think that was? Too dumb, not smart enough? Can't make decisions? How about no opportunity. So until recently, no black quarterbacks. Now, there are a number of them, and the changing of the game, (no omission of Rich Gannon, he's my fantasy qb),has created a different type of demand at the quarterback position. But you still have to think, and make decisions.

In baseball, look at the Latinos dominating the leagues......given the same opportunities (the Dodgers, and Braves have built baseball academies in places like the Dominican Republic to take advantage of the athletes, and to give them the SAME opportunity at the earliest possible ages as Americans have had for YEARS.

So, whatever the argument was/is, basing it on a level playing field, there is no proof that any race is superior intellectually. I do believe that the Asians are superior intellectually in certain
areas.........but who's to say who can do or can't if the opportunity is the same?

Without the opportunity, training, education, it's obvious.

I agree with everything you've said except the part about the Asians being more intellectual. Living in Japan for 4 yrs. its about even. They just put way more emphasis on education. Schooling begins at 3 usually.

Some kids by the time they're 8yrs old can speak multiple languages. Often military members put their kids in Japanese schools and speak Japanese and English.

I used to have a friend way back when. He was Vietnamese. I asked him "Truc, why is it Asians are so much better at math". He looked at me like I said something fucked up, which I had. He said, "What, my parents have been "DRILLING" this math shit in my head since I can remember, if I come home with a "B" I know I'm going to get my ass beat!

If you know anything about serial killers you should now that they very rarely if ever cross the racial divide to kill !


um, that's why it is a novel, not a biography. Besides, there aren't enough examples for a study, or enough recorded information to determine what a female serial killer would do.

In fact, experts have surmised that there are more female serial killers than originally suspected...they rarely get caught.

I really don't think this topic <intellect based on race> is worth discussing.

Nurture, in my experience, differentiates the average from the above average in any endeavor.

OK strongchick I was only stating some facts! The psychological profiling of serial killers is becoming a science in it's own right and becoming more and more accurate as it's experts become more experienced and they would tell you the same thing and I don't see any reason why women serial killers would differ that much from men as they are probably killing for much the same reasons eg. venting their anger on their own kind or society who they blame for their own shortcomings or because of abuse and/or ridicule, like I said just an example!

I only made this statement because I get fed up of whites being referred to as The slave masters! Slavery is a human crime which is not exclusive to whites and they were the first to abolish it!

I agree this was a stupid thing to say as it could be misconstrued as being superior and it's not worth getting into as there are many ways to measure intelligence! All I was trying to say was that if everybody is equal then everybody has strengths and weaknesses according to their race and gender, I believe that everybody is equal but that does not mean they are the same everybody is different and it cannot be racism to state this! This is why politicians or celebrities don't like discussing the subject cos it is an absolute minefield where even the most well intentioned and fair minded people can have their careers ruined, something is not right when this happens!
