Aromasin instead of Adex PCT? Macro?

Hey I read your post about Adex PCT with Clomid and Nolva. How about Aromasin instead? Im going to be coming off a 28 weeker @ about 2g's a week.

Thanks Bros.

God Bless,

CL

From my expereince if one uses a anti-e correctly during a cycle, then they should not be used during PCT{Estrogen levels should already be low}....Part of getting the HPTA back to "normal" is having normal estrogen levels.{Not suppressed estrogen}

I have used arimidex during PCT once, and it was my worst recovery ever.

Although I would love to hear what Macro has to say......I'm sure it will be good.

Dont know if I agree with you there. I have always been of the mind that low estro causes the body to produce more test. Hence the studies showing how adex and letro Increase test because there is less estrogen, so the body makes more test to compensate.

However, PC is a whole different ballgame, so what the hell do I know.

that is abnormal. use of an aromatse inhibitor post cycle should be quite effective.

are you certain that your dex was legitimate?

as a note- IMHO there is quite a variance in response to the various AI's. Know several people that get almost NO effect from dex.

Im confused about AI's during PCT. Some say its not a problem and its wise. Others say it will slow recovery. I have seen what appear to be very educated and reputable names argue both sides well. I guess everyone has their theories. I would like to keep estrogen low if possible. I hate that soft, sloppy feeling during/after PCT. I guess a lot of it is mental also. I always feel like I get some estrogenic fat (lower abs) though also....

Macro would you care to elaborate briefly on why you think an AI is ok (or good) during PCT?

Hey macro, do you also know people who get almost NO effect from Exemstane ? I'm talking about brand named legitimate Aromasin ? I take 50mg (2 tablets daily) and still feel with my high dosages, it doesn't get the job done. (got lab tests to prove 25mg wasn't close to enough)

No it was real astra zeneca, and I ran it my whole cycle and PCT....Worst recovery I have ever had. For me personally not running an AI during PCT works best.

I have heard of it. I read a post some time ago where a guy got full on gyno on cycle, even though he was taking 25mgs a day of aromasin. He couldnt believe it. So, I wouldnt say that it is impossible or unlikely.

yes. these drugs have different tissue specific effects. If your estrogen is produced mainly in tissues where they have little permeability/activity they will be less effective. also there is the secondary issue of sulfation, mostly overlooked but can be a significant factor in estrogen production (though it usually is not and estrone- the weakest estrogen is produced)

was your question not covered? estrogen is the main suppressor of testosterone production. The central negative feedback loop is based on testosterone to estrogen conversion and subsequent estrogen binding in hypothalamus and other tissues.
