I've read in a few different places that Arnold's arms were a touch less than 20 inches. 20 inches is huge, let's not forget.

Also Arnold didn't go for pure size- he was more interested in proper proportions. I'd bet if he really wanted to he could have gotten his arms bigger, but he never would have done that because then they'd be out of proportion with the rest of his body.

Arnold's claimed measurements from "Education of a Bodybuilder"
height 6'2"
weight 235
Chest 57"
Arms 22"
Waist 34"
Thighs 28"
Calves 20"
These measurements were probabyl taken pumped,while Jones meausre Arnold's arm at 191/2" cold, taken first thing in the morning, first flex, with a newspaper thin tape pulled snug- not tight. That coud make a big difference.

I heard that shit about that jones guy claiming arnolds arms were only 19", but hell you can plainly look at arnolds arms and tell that at his prime and peak they were 22" I dont care what anyone says, that jones guy claimed mike mentzers arms were bigger than arnolds, I think he was just trying to take something from arnold by talking shit, no matter what anyone says you look at arnolds arms and they are bigger than anyones back in that time period, hell in pumping iron that prison inmate claims arnold has 23" arms and that right there is good enough he saw the fuckin arms in person!

dont buy into it. When i seen louies arms(which dwarfed arnolds) at 300lb and with a tape measure showing just what dam near 22 inches looked like. Aint no way arnolds were near that big. This is when louie came back, he was a fucking monster
Yeah you can say arnolds were almost 20 inches, but people fail to realize just how fucking big 20 inches or even 18,19 inches are when you are ripped and have good muscle shape. Its all about illusion. And arnolds arms weren't even has big as sergios whose measured at a legit 20.5(again the magazines claimed 22-23 inches). Some peoples biceps look larger than the triceps for some reason, which give an illusion of a bigger arm. A person with a 19 inch arm with great bicep peak and maybe less tricep mass, will apear bigger than somebodies 20 incher with a not so great bicep peak and more tricep mass. The game is illusion. We are trained to focus on the biceps.
Do you people realize what a 22-23 inch arm looks like? Paul dillet, vic richards, louie second time around. All those guys are pushing 300+ lbs, you cannot have a 235 lb 6'2 man with 22 inch arms unless he is using synthol or some shit. Hell the pros nowadays that compete at much less bodyfat come in at 5'7 and 235 and might not have 22 inch arms, aint no way in hell a man 6'2" is at that same weight.
People get caught in this wieder magazine hype about muscle size and illusion. If you were to line arnold up against todays amatures he would be considered small. You know have peole 5'9 with 20 inch arms which means at 6'2 you need at least a legit 22 inches nowadays, which means you have to carry at least 260-270 ripped. Thats another 20-30lbs of solid muscle.

not 22 inches? i have 18 1/4 inch arms cold, and arnolds arms are much bigger than mine during his prime. i'd guess that they were probably 21 cold, 22 pumped.
