Arms hurt!

When I do standing curls, it tends to make my forearms hurt. It seems like it's in the bone that hurts, but I'm not sure. My bones are rather small compared to others. I get plenty of calcium and Vit. D, etc. Any suggestions?

tendons, you need to do stretching and get your forearms stronger, i had the same problem...i even have big bones.

Vets add to this if you need too.

Good luck.

There are lots of threads on this but as you are not plat you will not be able to search them.

I have this pain too, it seems quite common. It seems that the best things that you can do is to use alternative exercises that take the stress away from the forearms and concentrate on the biceps. I like to do bent over dumbel concentration curls (arms hanging not braced on the leg). Another exercise that I do when the forarm hurt is seated incline dumbell curl, but not supinating all of the way at the top. Apparently the forearm extensor muscles need to be worked in order to keep the muscle ballance even with the more powerful forearm flexors. Try doing reverse wrist curls and reverse grip barbell curls.
