Arm thickness

Wyllis

New member
My arms are now getting to a good size, I dont know whether its just me, but when I look at my arms in a mirror (straight on) they dont seem very thick.

This is my current bicpep workout

Standing EZ bar curls 3 sets, 10, 8, 6
Concentration curls 3 sets 10, 8, 6
Standing cable curls 3 sets 10, 8, 6

I am wondering if I incorporated hammer curls into my bicep workout would it solve the problem. If you think it would how would you incorporated into this workout?

I hit triceps real hard and they are coming along great. Im just wondering if building the brachialis will thicken the appearance of my arms when looking at them from the from not from the sides.

Its strange because when I use a straight bar with free weight standing curls my wrists are in agony thats why I use an EZ bar, but when I use a straight bar for standing curls with a cable my wrists are ok.

I do use both.

I think you are right about the brachiallis - thickening it up will not only make your arm thicker, but that will push the biceps out further, making it appear larger.

reverse straight bar curls....one of the best movements for your upper forearms, lower bi's and to add width to them..keep your elbows tight to your side and do them strict and slow
