arm measurements

There was a brief thread about this a week ago or so, but I just thought of something else.

Most people report their arm measurements with a flexed arm, correct? There's an article on measuring here http://www.testosterone.net/html/body_91truth.html but it seems slightly ambiguous as to the flexed arm part.

But anyways, here's my question. I had a friend a couple years ago. His arm was actually a little smaller than mine unflexed. But when he flexed, he had an incredibly short high peak on his bicep. Where as mine was long and low. So if we were to measure our arms flexed, his would come out a good two inches larger than mine, even though unflexed mine was larger.

i have a friend whose arm is bigger than mine unflexed but flexed mine is bigger. Strange I know just goes to show how genitics plays a large part in the shape of the biceps

Mine is big unflexed and when I flex gets rounder.
Not like those bros that when they flex a huge peak pops up.

Just depends on who has longer/shorter muscle bellies. I've seen people who have biceps that stop 2 inches short of the top of the inside of the forearm...and due to the shortness of their muscle belly their peak was gigantic...but it looked disgusting.

Paulos, your icon is insane :D

I am pretty carefully in measuring my arms, but he calls out Arnold pretty specifically as a dreamer, hmm.

The entire difference between my arms flexing and not flexing I believe is 2" or 2.5", I haven't measured non-flexed though in awhile. After triceps I am 3/8" larger, don't know about biceps but probably 1/4".

Everyone is different, but 2" difference? That sounds fishy.

Well, I have very little peak. And his looks like he had a large tennis ball surgically implanted underneath the skin.
