Arimidex's half life - Guru question

If the half life of Arimidex is 50 hours, would it be better to take .50mgs EOD rather than .25mgs ED?

Please justify your answers.

it doesnt matter. eod, ed. both ways are fine. and yes half life is around 50 hours

taking it everyday will help to have constant levels in the body. That way there's a constant stream rather than ups and downs.

J/K. The truth it takes very LITTLE estrogen to produce bloating. Arimidex doesn't block aromitization at a 100%. It blocks it at roughly 90%(this is not an accurate figure, and I'm not about to look it up). This is sufficient in stopping gyno and excess fat storage. Taking it ED will not decrease these side effects but it will decrease excessive bloating succesfully.

Just to clear this up Taking .25 ED will decrease bloat more sucessfully than taking .5 EOD. Correct?

Yes, the half life is 2 days so taking it everyday would give you a more even blood concentration which will help with the bloat.

It takes a lot of estrogen(relatively) to form gyno, much less than it takes to cause water retention.

Mathematically, it makes sense.

it is rather simple, just take it ED, EOD is ok due to the extended 1/2 life but ED gives more even levels of it.
