arimidex vs novadex (not a stoopid noob question)

ok i no how each one works but which do you prefer and why? will useing arimidex help gains - cause of no converson to estrogen- or does it only stop all side like gyno and water retention

Prefer for what? I'm assumung you mean for use during a cycle. Post cycle you definitely do not want to use Arimidex. As far as use during a cycle, I like Arimidex. It definitely stops the estrogenic side affects. I would have to say that it doesn't help gains though. Does it hinder gains?.......I haven't noticed that it does. That's why I asked this same question a few days ago.

arimidex is good to run during your cycle to prevent puffy nips and bloat. nolva is great to prevent your gyno and even take some of it away if you already have it, but it's a must for pct.

IMO adex is great during cycle but stick to the hcg and nolva pct. Yes i know people are going to say clomid, but personally i don't use it unless i have to.

For me, I use Arimidex during cycle and post cycle (with HCG).

By keeping E2 suppressed during cycle the degree to which I'm shut-down is minimised. Post cycle it also triggers an increase in LH (same as Nolva) with the added benefit of not increasing my SHBG, so my sex drive returns quickly.

The drawbacks are that it negatively affects good cholesterol levels, can push DHT to high and is very expensive.

when using adex should u start it immediately when starting test cycle???? first shot of cycle start adex same day?????

will proscar help with test/adex DHT issues-same wit proscar shoud u start it immediately

i'd say most start it the day with the test. some might start once then notice bloating. i started with test

adex increases DHT? is that only in higher doses?would that happen with .5mg eod. i was thinking of doing .5mg eod and mabey 10mg nolva ed. i dont want to completely eliminate estrogen, just prevent gyno and minimize the bloat

That's what my blood work showed (on 1mg EOD day). It goes hand in hand with the increase in test / free-test from the supression of Estradiol.

True, Arimidex will increase LH. But, by using it post cycle, you run the risk of driving estrogen too low, and therefore further damaging an already compromised lipid profile. This, so I've been told, also drives libido back into the ground, exactly what we don't want. Anyone else ever heard about this?

armidex will not do anything to estrogen thats already there. It just lessens the rate at which excess test will aromatise into estrogen. Which is why its great to run with a cycle.

So post cycle when your estrogen levels are high and test levels are low. There really isnt a reason why you would want to run armidex. Anyone who has a good reason to run armidex with pct, please let me know.

I use adex and nolva post cycle why not double the safety and it won't hurt you. Why does everyone think that adex is bad post cylce?

Roger-Roger, Its not so much that its bad, it just that it wolnt do much of anything post cycle. Also, say mid way to towards the end of pct, you want your body to be back to normal. Test to estrogen level included. If you take armidex, your estorgen level could become lower that it should be and effet your ability to keep your gains.

Its really not needed durring pct. It shouldnt cause any problems "might though", its just that its not needed. Durring a cycle is when you would want to run armidex.

So say running it for a few weeks after cycle isn't going to help. I think it would because at 3 weeks out your test is going to be low but estrogen still high and knocking down the estrogen while test is rising is the goal right?

Can anyone tell me why someone would recommend the usage of adex to a girl post-cycle? (the reason I ask, is because someone told me to run it at 8 weeks out from a show after running a cycle of primo and anavar)...
