I just picked up the January 2003 IRONMAN magazine. On pages 94-96 there is a nice article on Estrogen Examination.
Quoted from page 96..."So what should a male bodybuilder do about estrogen? If you're using drugs that are prone to aromatization and are showing signs of excess estrogen, such as incipient gyno, it would be prudent to consider a course of Arimidex."
Earlier in the article, it mentions that Nolvadex merely blocks estrogen cell receptors, doing nothing to curtail the body's actual estrogen synthesis. For that purpose it's more efficient to blunt the activity of aromatase.
Now I'm confused on when to use Nolvadex or if one should ever use it b/c Arimidex seems to be all that one needs. I thought that you should have Nolvadex on hand in case of gyno. Or do you think that Arimidex should be used in place of Nolvadex in treating early signs of gyno?
