rode bike post workout aprox. 4 miles... 35min

1pm:
1 scoop whey + water
1 small golden delicious apple

2:30pm:
2 slices ww bread
1 5 oz. grilled tilapia filet
1/4c onion, 1 TBS lf miracle whip
1/2 large russet potato

6pm:
4 sf NPB cookies, they are aprox. 1in in size... tiny, but good!!! (Thanks Trader joe's :) )

-Bike ride to Gym, 20 min
-20 min HIIT stair master, levels 5, 12, 1 min. intrvls.
-10 min elipitical, ramp height at max, level 8
-30 min bike ride

12pm:
1/4c raw oats
4 egg whites
1 scoop whey
1/4c skim milk
2 tbs sf jelly

3pm:

*Made Tilapia BUrgers... 2 Tilapia filets(6 oz. each), 2 whole eggs, 2 TBS feta, 1/2c onion, 1/4 yellow bell pepper, 2 tbs ww bread crumbs, dash parmesan.

This made 7 mini burger patties!!!

3pm:
2 mini Tilapia burgers with homemade plain non fat yogurt sauce.
1 medium baked potato

6pm:
3 boiled egg whites
1/4c brown rice

9pm:
2 slices homemade flax-7 grain bread
3 oz. turkey breast
3 slices tomato
2 tsp horseradish sauce

12pm:
1 TBS hazelnut spread

*30 min bike ride post workout

1:30pm:

2 medium strawberries

4pm:
2 slices grain bread (homemade)
3 oz. turkey breast
1 tsp horseradish sauce
1 tbs lf miracle whip
lettuce

7pm:
1 medium red potatao
2 left over tilapia burger
2 tbs yogurt dressing

11pm:
went out to eat...
Had 1 grilled chicken breast (aprox. 5 oz.)
BBQ sauce
1 slice rye bread
Few french fries

Sorry EF... havent been around lately. Bad things happened for the past few weeks and my family and I are trying to get through all of it. My grandfather is pretty much hooked up to a machine. He is 78 and has had 10 open surgeries in the past year. He had 2 strokes on Wednesday .... we dont have enough $$$ to go see him and thats the worst part. He is back in Europe at my old home :(

My mom is a TOTALLLL mess and Im trying to keep it together. Should be anyday now the doctors say.

i am trying to keep my diet and training on track however stress kicks in every once in a while and my appetite just doesnt exist. My grandmom said that today he is responding with a hand squeeze here and there so THANK GOD he is still here. There is damage to 3 parts of his brain and the doctors said he wasnt present. Today, that was proven worng. Some relief I guess.

It also doesnt help that I have to leave Wed. to go back to school. I gotta move out all my stuff and put it into storage. Thats the last thing I wanna be doing right now...

Monday---- July 24, 2006

11am:
1/2 banana
Went to ride my bike to the bike trail... DID 6 laps.
Then went riding to a lake.... did sprints up a hill walked dpwn.. 25 sets
Ran 2 laps around lake
Did 3 sets of 50 step ups on park bench
Rode bike home... exhaustedddd

2pm:
4 egg whites
1/4c raw oats
3/4 scoop whey
1/4c skim milk
cinnamon
2 tbs sf jelly

5pm:
1 c mashed potato
4 oz. grilled chicken
1 c mixed greens salad w. balsamic, olive oil

8pm:
slices 7 grain bread (homemade)
3 oz. turkey breast
lettuce
1 tsp horseradish sauce
lettuce

11pm:
2 TBS npb

Kay, I take back what I said in my log, oh man I am sorry! You and your family are in my thoughts. Eat, to keep your strength up, that is what your grandfather would want.

It must be very hard and sad for you and your mother in this moments not to be able to go see your grandfather.

I'm really sorry to hear about your grandfather, T! :heart: :rose:

The hardest part of a situation like that is the quailty of life a person has after a stroke (or multiple) and heart surgery (or multiple) or BOTH. My grandfather also had these issues (and diabetes). He was in the hospital on a ventilator also. I know EXACTLY how you feel! Hang in there! :heart:
 
hi... First I wanna say that I love you all!!!!

Lately, Ive just been dealing with so much that I dont even know what to do....

I did not and NEVER will forget EF and all of you ladies who have helped me in the past year. I do have to put the log on hold untill I am at school (2 weeks).

Things around me right now are nothing but bad and I hope everything gets better soon.

Training and diet are not 100% where I would want them to be but given the sircumstances, I am doing ok. My weight has not changed and overall I dont look worse. I guess thats ok for now, since I dont wanna look the same, i wanna work on becoming better. Time is something that I do have on my side :) I took 5 days off from training last week because of some things, other than that diet is the same and i started training again Saturday.

For now, I have to get my stuff together for the move.

In the meantime, I hope all of you ladies are doing good and happy.

Aries, it WILL get better. When standing in the middle of it all, it can be overwhelming, but you're gonna' be ok. Just hang in and take it day by day! :rose: ((((HUGS))))

It's been a long time...I hope you are doing better, and remember that thare is time for everything...It will settle when it's time, and the best thing about it...IS that here at EF alot of persons love you and it is timeless here...So when you do come in...It's always bright and sunny, warm and full of smiles for YOU, and You and You and YOU!
