are your parents physically fit like yourself?

nope.... work-a-holice.... and a soap-opera-a-holic..........

my parent can beat urs at trivial pursuit (I think thats the one)... the new addition...DVD...lol :D

My parents are in their mid-60's, but still are very active outdoors, doing pretty hardcore hiking several times a month. ...cardiovascularly, they're probably in better shape than me. :(

Mine are in theri mid 50's. Dad is in excellent shape for someone who's smoked for 40 years and only eats 3 small meals a day. Mom is a little overweight, but active.

My parents have physically totalled themselves from the ages of 20 to the current mid 50 somethings (I don't even know how old they are). Big ol' fatties, and the main reason i started working out when i was a teenager and have never stopped.

my dad is 58 and still puts up ~ 300 on bench at 168 lbs.

my dad's dead (what's that tell you about his health?) the result of decades of drinking to excess. apparently he was a helluva tennis player in college. I think he was around 65 when he died.

my mom is in pretty good health but quite overweight and she comes from a world where fitness just isn't really seen as something to do. she's been meaning to join water aerobics for a while now. she won't do resistance training which is what she really needs. funny thing is she calls herself fat and ugly but won't do anything about it. she has in iron constitution though and she's not dying anytime soon. she's 63.

part of the reason for working out is I want to improve myself, no one would accuse me of being a natural athlete but growing up I was close to the last to be picked for schoolyard games and whatnot, I got tired of that so now I'm one of the most fit people I know. still not very athletic though :(

My dad was an animal back in the day he used to lift and run marathons, play raquetball etc. He actually got me into lifting when i was 14, we used to go to the "Nautilus Club" 3 times a week. Now...he isnt so active LOL he's almost 100 lbs overweight works way too much but he does ride the PreCor Crosstrainer a few times a week in the basement but he doesnt eat right :( Mom has never been into exercise but sometimes she will go for a walk or every so often she will ride "the machine" as she calls it inthe basement.

Unfortunately not, my dad is in the declining stages of Parkinson's and they are coming to stay with me tomorrow, they will put their motor home on my land. I'm going to see if they can have a house built on my property. They were never in to physical fitness and i believe as a result, it may have hastened his decline.

My mom has always been in pretty good shape I got her lifting last spring and she is in great shape people are always asking her what she has been doing cause she looks so firm. My fatherr was a very active guy but not with traditional sports horseback ridding and taking care of a small fram.

Mom does pilates. She's in good shape for a 53 year old.

Dad is in bad, but not horrible shape. Drinks too much, overeats, and doesn't exercise. He'll probably wind up with some kind of semi-serious medical condition, but i hope he smartens up before he's too far gone.

I'm not sure anybody in my biological family besides me has ever set foot inside a gym.

my biological dad is long gone. Never really had a dad tho. My mom is ok as far as being in shape but she's not strong at all.
