Are you against split/1 bodypart per week workouts?

Wondering... are all you guys against doing workouts with 1 bodypart per week?
 
no. But I am against ugly people wearing too little clothing.

Seriously, how could I be against someone working out? Shit I'd be happy as fuck if most Americans would do Pilates.

If you want to discuss the most time efficient routines for developing mass and/or power with or without steroids, that would, of course, be another thread. ;)

why isnt a split workout good for gaining muscle?

I never said any such thing. I said if you want to discuss what routine is the most efficient for gaining mass or the most efficient for gaining strength, that would be a different question.

Read the thread again.

I never offered my opinion about split routines at any point. You don't even say whether you are talking about bodybuilding or powerlifting.

I just pointed out that you seem to be hostile about split routines for some reason, and I wonder what you are trying to accomplish exactly with all this.

If this doesn't make sense to you, then I'll leave you free to air your madness.

A body recovers from a workout faster than 7 days.


Why not train it more frequently so you can make gains more often?
 
See, fryzie, I knew that there would be plenty of people to correct you. And if you had done any research or read any threads, you would already know my views on this. But the truth is, you posted your little flex split in another thread and got criticized. You got your feelings hurt. So you decided to defend Joe Weider economic rape of you to the world. So when you are smashed down and crying because science is on the side of reality, you will try to retreat behind, "It works for me. I don't understand why everyone attacks what I do, etc". I wanted you to see that you came on this thread to start an argument because your feelings were hurt elsewhere. Even though I was just calmly clarifying your goals you wanted a fight. Well, you have your wish. And you will lose. Because you are wrong.

Whether for building mass or gaining strength dual factor periodized programs are scientifically proven superior to any single factor program (such as a weider split), whether on steroids or off.

If you accept double blind placebo controlled trials we can start with a reference list. We can use Zatsiorsky various term definitions as a common base.

If you don't know what some of those terms in the above two paragraphs mean, then maybe you should ask what something is before you pass judgement on it. We would be happy to guide you to sufficient explanations of the above terms. For example, start with the training vault sticky above. Make sure you read madcow's main thread. Also, a familiarity with WSB from elitefts.com is very good. And make sure you read zatsiosky's book. If you don't know any of this, then it would be simpler to start reading than to try starting hostile argument threads. If you do know all this, and really want to argue, then let's go. And if you are genuinely trying to learn, you may want to stop calling people "fuck wit" "fuck" and "wanker", as it makes you seem dull-witted, juvenille and hostile.
