I've been on and off since the age of 23. Competed in 2 shows, one in 1992 and another in 1994. After my second show in 1994, I went off until 2011, when I started TRT. All I can say is I was never addicted, sure I loved the feeling and look, but you can achieve a healthy lean look without them. The big difference for me now at age 50, is the recovery factor. It's so difficult to recover at age 50, compared to your 20's and 30's. In my opinion, steroids are more benificial when your older, because it allows you to recover quicker and still make improvements to your body. Obviously there just as important at a younger age if you're competing or training at a very high level. Just my 2 cents.

Deffenitly, can't ever stop talking a out body image , diet ect .. So maybe I'm addicted to the lifestyle, but that sure as fuck includes steroids... So yea I am
