What is the lowest BF% you can maintain with a reasonable lifestyle change? I have heard 12% or so is the lowest. I started out around 35%, i'm at about 22% now. 12% is fine by me as i don't really care about abs, i just don't want to be fat anymore.

By reasonable lifestyle i mean not being in ketosis all week, not weighing yourself daily, etc. I assume with a few moderate lifestyle changes like a little more cardio or cutting calories 1 day a week i can maintain something like 14% yearround, but i don't want to live on oatmeal and ALA and 10 hrs week cardio to get to 6% or anything.

a ckd year-round is not that bad. i can do 20+ weeks on a strict ckd. get your hands on primo, winny, anavr, and if you have the balls fina. then when you get a bit more knowledgeful get you mits on some gh/t-3. also read dr jmw threads/posts for fat loss

Bro, you are going to have to do more than this. (but, you don't need 10 hrs of cardio)

My dr. called me a "small boned endomorph". I was fat but had very skinny arms and legs. (didn't exactly help w/the ladies) At about age 25, as my metab slowed, I went up to 215 (still w/skinny arms and legs).

So, I dieted my ass of. (yes, I even dod the gay low carb shit) And, I lifted and did cardio 7 days a week. (bc I wanted to get laid) I lost 15 lbs by f-n starving myself. But, I still had the same body shape. Then, it slowly came back anyway.

Finally, I learned the proper way to train. lifting approx 3 days a week.
And, how to eat. about 6 meals per day w/lean protien/slow burning carb/fiberous veg. each meal. Yes, I though going from 2 meals a day to 6 would make me fat. But, I went from 215 lbs 25%- 30% bf to 195lbs 8%bf and ripped in 3 months.

If I slack off on the diet at all. (diet coke, burger king , etc) I almost get fat over night. But, eating right and working out properly I can stay 190ish and bf at about 10% yr round. (natural)
PM me w/any questions about diet and training.

Oh, I eat old fasioned oatmeal 3 times a day. (w/protien and veg) So, don't Pm me if you wont eat Oatmeal. :D

sounds like you were standing right behind me when the shitty genetics were being handed out, thats my story too...

If I eat carbs more than 2 x a day I can add 2" to my waist in a week. It's great. you can see what i mean in my gallery, if i stop training i revert to type in the space of months.

original poster you're gonna have to suck it up and accept that you got shortchanged & never going to stay lean living off BK and ice cream like some lucky bastards. gonna have to stick with oats 2 x a day and green veggies for the other meals & some good fats 24/7

tweakle- I have a question for you. If your eating carbs 2x per day, only, how much do you eat at once? I assume that eating a smaller amount of complex carbs throughout is better than heaps once or twice, What do you think?

I only eat small amounts for those meals, we're talking a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast then a small serving of rice for lunch. I have shitloads of veg for the other meals but there's very cals in that. Plus 50g's PW (again oatmeal not a simple carb)

carbs = strength, the more you can eat the better but as an endo I can't do that.. losing bf takes so long that ''bulking'' is absolutely out the question even if I start @ 10-12%

Damn bro, Good job, How much do you weigh? You look a lot bigger than me. I'm 5-10 190's 10%bf

I'm lucky I can handle complex carbs w/every meal and simple post w/o. But, i'm noticing the older I get the more muscle I lose when i go below 10% bf. (I'm in my 30's) I find that increasing my protien even more helps (over 400 gms every day)

Good info bro, and nice transformation from your pics. Even in your before pic, you dont look that fat. But you definately look like you are missing muscle. To me I see a much greater increase in muscle mass, than fatloss directly. I guess that the 2 go hand in hand anyways. I would be curious to know what you are cycles look like, and cycling history. A little K your way bro for the hardwork in the transformation.

Cheers,
Mavy
