If you have never been bitten by one then consider yourself lucky. Nasty bite.

Forms a blister and burns like a lit match and itches like crazy. You can't help but itch the shit out of it.

never heard of them.. are they big?... link me a picture !

Small but they group together and get on you before you know it then they start biting all at once.

Very small.

They are a small red ant, build mounds in our yard down here, hard to kill. Step in an antbed and you regret it, feels like you are actually burning. Bites turn into large pimple-like welts that itch like hell.

Hell yea on the fire ants being a major "Makes ya want to kill yourself" kinda pain
when they get your ass. Its like they wait till they are covering your shoe and socks and someone sends the signal BITE HIS ASS.... NOW !

and its on.. and you are dancing and cussing knocking them off

The farthest shark attack on record was 22 miles inland up a creek in NJ. It was a great white shark.

The book of lists is awesome.

Most people killed by alligators was crazy too!

We have sharks in Maine. They swim into Biddeford Pool and Wells Beach tidal all the time. Never had a shark attack, but they are all over the place here. 8 to 10 footers...blues mostly.

We have them in the Summer and late fall all over Casco Bay.
