Are anti-e's during a cycle necessary?

Are anti-estrogens necessary during a cycle or can I hold off using them until the end of my cycle?

I would like to bulk up and (so I believe) water retention allows for greater mass build-up (in terms of quantity of muscle rather than quality).

From my research it seems that anti-estrogens minimise water retention. If I do a cycle including anadrol (up to 150mg/day) and dbol (40mgs/day), and finish it with fina, do I have to take anti-estrogens during this cycle or can I wait until, say, a week before I have finished taking fina before I start the anti-e's?

If I can avoid taking anti-e's during, say, the dbol phase, would I get gyno once I swapped to fina?

I would definitely take anti-e's while on androl and dbol. Both aromatize very readily. Once you stop them, the fina won't aromatize so you'll be fine. Post cycle you don't need an anti-e because you'll be on clomid, but it can still help eliminate part of the post clomid crash because once you stop clomid you'll have all this test in your system aromatizing and suddenly binding to your e-receptors that were blocked up until then.

It depends on you bro. Everyones body reacts different. I have no problems with gyno while on test, but there is water retension.
If I was you I would keep some on hand just in case and monitor yourself closely for signs of gyno. If you just want to limit water retention, then it's up to you whether you want to take anti-e's or not. My experience is the water will go away when your done with the cycle and reveal all the new muscle you gained.

ps. Thanks for doing the reseach before asking the question. ;)

If you want water rentention, but no gyno, you can take clomid eod throughout your cycle. Clomid does nothing for me as far as water weight. It's not like Liquidex/Arimidex. Those will minimize water.

I personally hate water retention, and do all I can to avoid it. But I would personally take clomid throughout anyway, because I am very sensitive to gyno.

I think it is smart to use them on practically any cycle. All that water retention and bloating may make you weigh more, and you may put on a little extra muscle because of it, but when you try to harden up your going to lose it anyway.

Anti-E's are a good idea for any cycle with drugs that aromatize(converts to estrogen).

FINA DOES NOT AROMATIZE, SO NO ANTI-E WILL PREVENT GYNO FROM FINA! Fina has a progesterone conversion, and progesterone gyno can only be prevented with RU486, or winny!

I realise fina doesn't aromatise. The reason I mentioned using anti-e's at the end was because estrogen might still be in my body from the a50 and dbol and have only been held in check by the fina, and as such needs to be eliminated at the end of the cycle.

I might take the middle road and use half a proviron/day while on a50/dbol.
