I hear what you're saying to a point,but then another part of me is disturbed by this atypical american mentality.The main reason?MY KIDS.I don't want my kids to grow up in a world where they have to be afraid to travel abroad,and where their home country roots are the basis for them being stereotyped and singled out from the rest of the world.It's time to change things,as the way we've been doing shit is so isolationary and offensive to literally everyone outside of our nation.Not trying to change your view,as I can see certain people are very anchored in their view of the world,but personally,I want to see my children grow up in a better,less hostile environment than we are subsisting in at present.

This "atypical" mentality is anything but man. It just manifests itself more vigorously whenever a republican administration is in office. The world press is largely knee jerk leftist, especially in Canada in Europe, which is what people generally mean by "the rest of the world. LOL. Apparently the rest of the world comprises less than 10% of the world population.

They fight any adjustment to that status quo. The fought us all throughout the Cold war, with the fags up North and in Europe crying for unilateral disarmament every ten seconds.
