Are AAS going the same way as GHB (now Xyrem)

I feel that all this new attention on AAS is just an attempt by the government to regulate, control and profit from the manufacture of AAS in the near future.

GHB (now an officially classified medicine called Xyrem) used to be demonised for it's use in date rape etc. To my amazement a few years thereafter the FDA then approves the product for use in narcolepsy and charges in excess of $100 for a months supply of it. This is pure hypocrisy!

I think anabloic steroids are going the same way. The government realises how much potential revenue could be made from official AAS sales. Take a look at the FDA approved AAS Oxandrin (the new name for Anavar). The price is seriously inflated.

When will the hypocrisy end? Are we going to tolerate being told, how, when and why to do things forever? Free will, self respect (and therefore respect for others) and self governance is the only way forward.

would all make sense except the fact that xyrem is the LEAST prescribed drug on the market bro. I have seen it one time in vegas and a doctor had it. NO doctor wants to prescribe it and hardly any is being sold, so i dont think out government is making any money off of xyrem...........although i completely agree, its pure hipocracy for them to make it schedule 1 and 3

as much as i love AS as i just finished my first cycle. i still don't know if i think they should be available for anyone. too many idiots out there would be hurting themselves with infections, absesses, shooting there wife with it while she sleeps to hurt her for whatever reason, guys would be shooting up there highschool maybe even younger kids for athletics. it would be outta control. but i'm glad people can find it like myself and figure out what the fuck im doing before i just do it. i don't think injecting is something for every idiot out there in america. and there's a whole lot. flame away

So what if there are stupid people out there. Let them kill themselves its called natural selection. You can die from taking too many aspirin and I know plenty of people who abuse over the counter drugs as well as prescription pharmeceuticals from there doctor. Just because someone is a fucking moron doesnt mean you treat everyone else like a moron. Thats called communism.

This is what I found on the www.xyrem.com website.

"Schedule III drugs have less abuse potential than schedule II substances and moderate dependence liability. Examples include pain medication such as Tylenol® with Codeine®* and Vicodin®* (hydrocodone with acetaminophen). Xyrem (sodium oxybate) oral solution has been placed in Schedule III. Non-medical uses of GHB are classified as Schedule I."

i think it should be schedule 1 personally, but don't see how they can go back and make it 3 too

Our government is getting out of control. They are constantly taking away our individual freedoms. I am sick of both parties they need to all be rounded up and shot. It will be interesting to see what happens in November, it's a bunch of BULLSHIT
