This movie is.........different.
Real.....different.
Riveting and shocking.
The look of an expensive movie....yet when it is done..one may think that it wasn't that expensive. No name actors and fairly routine special effects.
Educational? Perhaps...if this is how it really went down prior to the Spanish conquistadors.
Gibson likes his gore. Reminders of the ultra gore found in Braveheart...one of the best movies ever.
Would I recommend it? Yes
Would I pay to see it again? Probably not....I usually see a movie twice because I feel like I missed some stuff the first time...due to the movie being really packed. This movie cruises along with a frenetic leisure to it.
Lots of men in thongs...I guess that is what they wore. I could have done without it but since it wasn't "in your face" and displayed for the sake of it...I can overlook that fact.
Oh....the Mayans would have made good Republicans. lol
