Anything OTC to help dissolve a kidney stone?? :(

Just drink lot's o water.....there aint shit you can do without surgery....if its already in your bladder your not a candidate for lithotripsy, so the surgery would involve snaking and tiny basket on a stuck up your pee hole so they could fish it out.

I've had kidney stones twice now so I know how ya feel..... Drink lots of WATER and wait for it to come out.... If it doesnt in a week or so, go see a doc. I'd stay away from ibuprofen, its hard on kidneys. I'd use tylenol for the pain.....unless your on cycle. Then your kinda fucked.

thanks bros. I went to the ER 2 weeks ago cause I was dying in pain. The pain was more towards my left hip (front) I had a slight pain for about 4 days, then nothin. Then this week went back top the gym, drinkin a lot of water, and today I've had a slight sharp pain in the front-left side of the pube area; so I guess is in the bladder or just going into the bladder. And for the pain, I have painkillerz....

When my brother was younger and got kidney stones, the doc told him to drink lots and lots of beer. True story. It's a dieretic, and apparently it also dialates the tubes that the stone has to pass through. Plus it'll take the edge off.

I never had them, but if you guys/gals don't know - to be preventive you should drink a small glass of pure cranberry juice each morning.

If they CT'd you, what size was your stone?

I usually don't CT people unless it's the first stone, if they can't get pain relief, if they are febrile, or if there is significant hydronephrosis (ballooning of the kidney from urine backing up) evident on a bedside ultrasound.

don't know. the day at the ER, they put Demerol in my vein so I was feeling in heaven. Doc came back with the results and told me you're passing a stone. My answer was only "ok" and went back to my trance state. So those results from the CT are still there. I had ultrasound done, came back normal. Next week have to go to the cockologist, probably he'll request the CT results.

I tried drinking a lot of beer already... and I'm conStantly whacking off so if the baby comes out, I keep my pipes lubed and doesn't hurt that much.
