I have a Pirahna sts, I'm looking to upgrade the barrel. I'm considering the Spyder dye boomstick, my question is what is the difference between the different legnths in barrels? Any advice is appriciated, Thanks strider364.

Can't give you any advice, but if you're going to be anywhere near Jim Thorpe, PA July 13th they're hosting a 24 hour paintball game scenario of the D-day invasion.

I have a Tippman Pro Lite.

No mods to it. I'm lucky if I can change out O-rings, so doing mods on my own is out of the question.

The longer barrel length and rifling (in theory) gives you greater range and accuracy.

It doesn't say what the fps is on it though. That is pretty damn expensive. I got to start saving for that.

I play paintball. I've got a 2k Cocker.

To answer your question, the length of the barrell is like the difference between a rifle and a pistol. You are going to be more acurate at a further distance with a rifle. Depends on how you play in the game. At the start if you like to sprint to the front and you stay there most of the game, I'd go with about a 10". If you stay towards the back, I'd go with something like a 14-16". I myself use a J&J Ceramic 14" on my cocker for most games. Check ebay, you can get barrells cheap off of there.

i play paintball...got a 2k2 bushmaster with DV8 LCD and antichop eye. Expensive bitch, but worth it cause we play tournaments sometimes.

Anyway... I THINK the pirahnas can use spyder barrels
