Anyone watching Euro 2004 soccer?

this further proves that squad of stars doesnt always win

pistons proved it, now its time for a soccer team to prove the same

Last week I was just leaving work when Portugal won... took me 25 minutes to get out of the city (usually takes 5). Crazy fans everywhere! And that was just for the quarter-finals...

Tomorrow they play Holland (and they'll lose ofcourse) but I think I'm too scared to put my flag on my car.. lol.

Anyway, who do you think will win?

Where the hell do you live??????

exactly bro. looking at the overall quality of soccer played- the only two teams that have looked good are the czechs and the greeks. too bad they face off in the semis and only one will make it to the finals. the czechs have been awesome in attack and the greeks in defense. i think ALL the other big teams (france, germany, eng, portugal, holland, italy) have truly played like shit and don't deserve to win the finals. having lots of stars in ur team doesn't always equate to goals scored and goals defended. all those star teams haven't been able to put together 90 mins of good soccer consistently. i think after the czechs and greeks, denmark and sweden were the other teams that played decently, results notwithstanding.
i hate to say it cuz i'm from holland, but; i agree 100%! i'm most impressed by the greeks though i think a lot of that can be attributed to otto rehhagel..

Oh, I see.... so not in PORTUGAL!? Well I guess I can still return the plane tickets and get refund. :(

Holland..

Stupid Manchester United is selling Ruud to Real Madrid for $30 Million pounds after Euro 04.

go greece for taking care of the french. i would like to see a portugal vs. greece final and figo tripping on his face and greece winning.

it's great to see smaller teams doing better these days. like greece at euro '04 and turkey and s korea at the 2002 world cup. it was getting a bit boring to see the same teams- brazil, argentina, holland, germany, italy, england and france dominate at almost every major tournament.
