Anyone use Deca just for joint lube maintenance?

I don't really want anything out of the Deca except for the joints. I was thinking of 100mg/week to keep me lubed for my sport. I'm just not sure if that's enough. I might have to do try and see.

I was wondering the same thing. I will be doing a cycle with sust and eq, but wanted to add 100mg/wk of deca also to help with my joints. Has anyone tried this, if so is 100mg/wk going to work?

Why mask the problem? Take Glucosamine/Chondriton/SAM-e. Fix the problem. Taking deca to ease your pain is just asking for problems.

Deca is highly suppressive at any dose! Why risk the crash that can occur when you stop?

I only use it for that purpose as well, usually with winstrol to keep my joints working. I find 200mg/week works for the joints but I'll usually use at least 400mg/week.

try omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil) as well. it's anti-inflammatory and i personally swear by it. i've stopped taking ibuprofen alltogether and just do six grams of omega-3 instead.

Wow hellorhih2o fish oil took away all the little aches and pains?,
I live on ibuprofen befores games. Is this fish oil something I could purchase @ the local super market or is it labeled supplement in pill form requiring the usual pharmaceutical like high cost? I'm taking Glucosamine/Chondriton/Calcium now, not much in pain relief though. I've tried flax seed oil, seemed to help the skin but no noticable joint relief. I worked through a rotator cuff injury about ten years ago (no surgery). The only thing I took was Stacker when it first came out. This took awhile but I was able and am still able to compete @ a high level with no shoulder pain in my throwing shoulder. I guess I've always worked through the little injuries along the way for 23 years, 41years old and still plugging. I'm just looking for some grease for the old joints. Thanks for all the responses they've been really helpful.
LAWNSAVER, I'm on HRT and wanted to do this over the summer months. I was hoping the suppression wouldn't be that bad on a low dose. In the winter I plan on easing into my workouts as to not require the deca.

GoinDeep,

I first found out about omega-3 fatty acids in an article in Muscle & Fitness. Quick quote:

"Probably the top dietary supplement for joints is fish oil, due to the richness in omega-3 fatty acids. By dampening inflammation, fish oil helps injuries heal faster and reduces pain... Most forms now sold are about 30% omega-3 fatty acids, which inclide EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)... Along with protecting against heart strokes, EPA's anti-inflammatory effects appear to reduce muscle loss in farm animals, so it may be a double-duty bodybuilding and preventitive medicine supplement"

I found a "Super EPA" omega-3 faty acid supplement that has worked wonders. It's rom now foods, I'm sure you've seen their stuff in supplement stores: http://www.nowfoods.com/?action=itemdetail&item_id=3054.

You want the highest possible concentration of EPA in your omega-3 fatty acids.

Again, I swear by it. B-bye ibuprofen...
