Answer: The different right triangles in the first figure are all similar, so it may seem that the second figure (made from the same pieces) must be the same shape. But the base of the second figure is significantly longer

the base on the pic is the same length, I just measured it, see for yourself, use a string or a pencil, mark the length of the first, it matches the length of the second

its not because of the base, its because the top on one has 2 blocks and the others top has 3 blocks....I dunno :worried:

The base is the hypotenuse, it is longer in the second picture.
