supposedly it decrease fatigue
in athletes and increase total muscular work done.(1,2)
After a 10 week
supplementing strategy, the reported increase in intramuscular
carnosine content was an average of 80.1% (range 18 to 205%).(2) Much
of the research involving beta alinine has been done in conjunction
with creatine(typically monohydrate) and has shown dramatic result far
greater than creatine or beta alinine alone.

Anyone tried this ????? How was it??? Looks like could be something interesting.

Yes. I take 2g morning and 2 grams before workout. For me, it has the added benefit of saturating my nerves and make my diabetic neuropathy less noticable. There's a rush you get with it that lasts about 1 hour, and this rush seems to add a little drive to me. Some people don't like it. I've gotten used to it.

I do not alsways use it with creatine.

Worth a try, it is not very expensive. You might not like the "niacin-like" flush you get. I do.

Yes. It works.

You want 3-6g a day spread over 3-4 doses. It takes three to four weeks to really notice the increased endurance.

I've only been using it a few weeks, and one thing I've noticed is no matter hard my workouts are, I'm not nearly as sore as I would be if I hadn't been supplementing with beta alanine. That alone has made it a "must-have" supplement in my book...

Thanks guys, good info...I am deff going to give it a try at around 6grams a day with 10grams of creatine a day and see how it goes for me. How long you guys think I should run this for? Or maybe its something i could stay on forever if i like it alot?
