I heard the same. I'm not a big fan of those types of movies. Like a friend used to say..."If I wanted to see kittens thrown into a woodchipper, I would of done it myself."

Not scary or anything and not nearly as good as Saw but I dunno its worth seeing I guess if your into shock value

And NO quentin Tarantino did not direct or did anything with this film he just presented it like he did with HERO...and this movie plus Saw sucked they all suck...Horror movies today try to gross you out instead of actually being scary.
