I want to get an old bug and redo it. I had a 1966 baja and it kicked ass. Now that I am older, I want to get an old bug and make it hapen. Where can I get a 2250 vw engine

my buddy drove out to cali and bought 2 old bugs and drove them back to ny. ..the ones with the split window in the back...i guess the are wicked old but in mint condition.He said they (vw)had a factory out there so theres lots of parts and junk in cali.

i guess hitler commissioned the design of them for the germans back in the day.People mover is what volkswagen means in german.it was a military vehicle apparently along with the "thing".but he made tons for the germans because they were so cheap and could go anywhere.
