anyone live in a studio apartment?

im moving out! yay! i was thinking of getting a studio downtown, close to my gym , market, transportation, clubs, school etc.. my parents are going to help me pay for it (which i welcome since living in downtown vancouver is very expensive), but studio living: pros and cons? anyone with experience in the matter?

when I was 18 I lived in a studio WITH a roomate fore like 2-3 months. LOL! Luckily my roomate was super cool. Met lotsa chicas then too regardless of the space issue. Go figure

it can be fun if you are good with interior design. get some girlfriends to help you lay the place out. only thing that sucks is that there is no "private" room, which really only comes into play if you have a party or a roommate, etc.

but like I said, you can do some cool shit with a studio.

im thinking of really chic-ing it out with some post modern paintings, low lvl lighting, bamboo in the corner, etc etc. its gonna look pretty pimp! that and my parents are leaving behind the 50inch tv for me so thats a chick magnet on its own.

im contemplating the studio idea as well. granted I might only save like $100 a month, but every little bit helps.

if the studio apartment doesnt hurt the odds of attracting women then hey why not.
anything has to be better than living at home with my parents.

I lived in a studio house in college. Worked fine really...all I did was study.

It was uber cheap.
