Would someone please be able to go through the options i have if i was wanting to connect my LAPTOP to the internet. I dont have a phone line so it would need to be wireless. Thanks

do you have cable television, is so, you may be able to connect using your cable television, assuming it is broadband, or dsl for that matter. do you not have a phone line whereever you are residing?

Do you have another computer your trying to connect it to?If so use a wireless router,I use netgear, works great.
If you have no other computer your conecting it to,your talking star trek shit man.

There are three basic ways to connect to the net.

1. Phone (Dial up or DSL) (which you don't have)
2. Cable
3. Satilite hookup.

All three costs about 30 - 40 bucks per month.

Check with your cable company and if they don't offer it then check with the dish network.

yeh i cant get anything installed like satellites etc.
what about things like mobile connect cards etc.?

Bottom line is you want to connect to the internet you need a phoneline, cable, or do the satelite route. Wireless connections like through a cell phone, aren't practical, are slow and it would be much easier to go with one of the above mentioned.

I know Sprint offers a wireless card for laptops, unlimited use for 80$ a month. The speed is similar to dial up allegedly, but Im not sure about the coverage.
