are suppose to stay in? Mine have been in 8 days and I don't have an appointment for another 6 days. What day should I cut them out?

They can stay in for a while before the skin grows over them.
One time I was 2 weeks late to my stitches-removing appointment.
No problems, they still came out pretty easily.
Stop picking at your stitches

thank, it is the first time I've ever had them so I didnt' know. they have been in 9 days and that seemed like a long time.

you shouldn't cut them out.. that's asking for disaster..

they will fall out when ready or the dr will take them out

cool, now I know. The 4000 hours I have spent on EF just finally paid off.

Cut them out and pay attention to which side the knot is on.

Some people do not realize they are tugging the knotted side thru. Pull them slowly with tweezers

Depends on if they're the ones that come out on their own. I thought these were the only ones used nowadays save for major surgeries and such.

The last time I ripped my finger open with a razor-sharp broadhead, the doctor sealed it up with medical glue instead of stitches. It left a rather wide scar compared to stitches, so I wouldn't recommend that to anyone.

maybe that is what I have, what the hell I don't know. Who cares, at this point I'm going to just leave them in until they tell me to take them out

What kind of a pussy gets stiches?

You ever heard of duct tape?

A good rule of thumb is that if you slice yourself open and don't feel any pain, see a doc. Anything deep enough to sever the nerves has the potential for a host of problems.

fine just to keep you happy I'm ripping them out, breaking out the duct tape and snorting lines of Percocet. Tomorrow I'm going to make the worst decisions I can make, then at that point I think I'll impress you.
