Anyone know about "skin tags"

I have a few - what they call - "Skin Tags". It's a little flap of skin usually formed in the armpit or base of the neck area. Anywhere where the skin kind of krinkles (for lack of a better word).... Can I just shave these things off or what?

My Dr. used a scissors to cut one off of me and when they are small you can just pinch them off......

I shaved one off once and it bled for a bit, but other than that I was alright. But others have said that if you don't get it frozen off, it will come back. Thank you Jencats5.

Take a pair of nail clippers if you have a decent pain threshold and just clip them off. Remember pain is just weakness leaving the body

I've never had one frozen off & none have ever come back....

Well - when I shaved the one it didn't hurt at all so I am not concerned about that. I just didn't want them returning. I'll give the biggest one a shot tonight and see what happens...

Be prepared for it to bleed a bit......the one I had cut off was big & it bled for 1.5 days.....

Best thing about it is you can throw it on a cracker after you cut it off and eat it. Whole wheat cracker of course Carbs and Protein!

ok..listen to me on this one. I had like 3 under one armpit and they were driving me crazy. this is my painless method for self-removal.

Get a real sharp small pair of scissors(like the kind they sell in the women's nail section in the pharmacy). Hold a piece of a ice on the skin tag for a good 30 seconds, then quickly in one fast snip cut that bitch off. Totally painless but they do bleed like a son of a bitch for a few so put a bandaid nice and tight on it after. They have never come back and I did almost 2 years ago.
