that has hiked Mt Rainier. I am thinking of doing it in summer of 2006. It was to booked for summer 2005

Yeah, I hiked it not too long ago, its beautiful and there are lots of hiking trails.. It cost I think ten dollars to get into it the National Forest area, on the road in there is a tollstop where you pay like 10-15bucks and they give you a map and other info of all the places to hike, usually pretty busy with a lot of people and they have a big info center up top that is pretty cool.

Youre kidding right? Its over 14,000 ft mountain, hiking, rockclimbing, glaciers. The whole mountain and surrounding area is a National Park, hence, you have to pay to get in. Lots of places to hike from easy short hikes to advanced mountainclimbing and everything in between, like most mountains. And like most visited mountains they have a visitor center at the top. Since this is less than two hours from Seattle and Tacoma it has lots of visitors who go and there are some places designated for them. There's camping, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, etc... its a huge area.
