Are they worth having in the house to do am cardio?

I have a Orbitrek in my house it's ok, but it's a bitch for days after a leg workout
I like a treadmill better

i have something like tony's gazelle. i bought it for about 100.00. it's great for cardio and easy to use. with little or no impact it's great if you have bad knees.
