Anyone here tried effexor or ativan?

I did effexor. Minor weight loss was my only side. It's pretty easy on your system in terms of side effects.

I used to date a woman whose ex-husband was prescribed Ativan. Long story short, he hung himself. Apparently Ativan can intensify any depression or suicidal tendencies that you may have already.

Why did you dislike it? Did anybody like effexor? The ativan is only for panic attacks and crap like that so ideally I won't use it all the time.

I personally don't like any of the SSRI's (Effexor, Paxil, Zoloft). Just didn't like the way they made me feel. Didn't get depressed, but didn't get happy either. Just kind of stoned all day. The withdrawls from the SSRI's were brutal as well. Right now I am taking Wellbutrin XL and i feel like a million bucks. WXL is a dopamine and norepinepherine reuptake inhibitor. It just acts on different neurotransmitters, and in my case it worked.
