Ok so he passed the bar in Cali now.. last I had takled to him about it he hadn't...

but so what, so he wants to work as a PT.. if he makes good money that way, what's wrong with it? Job satisfaction among lawyers is very low.. usually less then 50%..

There's a difference between someone who does something cause that's what he wants and someone who does it because he has no other choice (dunno if it's the case here). Most lawyers are unhappy (myself included), I'll give you that. But would they leave their job and salary to become PT ? I doubt. They'll try to find something with a decent salary. Not sure about cali but here average salary for a PT is somewhere between 20-25k while an average lawyer (even below average) is way over 40k/year... just my 0.02 :artist:

He's a personal trainer because he knows how to work out and train...

Not in that picture he doesn't.

I have nothing against PTs. However, in Cali, you better have a body to represent that you practice what you preach. Certs mean nothing unless you look the part. That is all I am going to say about that.

Maybe Wodin can tell us why he passed the bar and isn't practicing?

he was by far the most jacked person at that party.. and there were hundreds of people there

If you have never worked in the legal profession, its easy to sit here and question him. Some people decide to leave the legal field for a peaceful life (even if it is temporary). And they are willing to give up the luxuries that come with work in the legal profession. Spend 30 days where every minute of your time has to be accounted for. Where your career is based on whether or not a Partner wants to go out and seek more clients. Try working 60-80 hours in one week and sometimes not going home. It can wear you down.

Many people in the legal field give up the pay at law firms to go in-house, start their own businesses, or try something new.

I don't judge him at all. I've often times thought that being a personal trainer would be great

Jacked?

Ok, I am not going to rag on the guy because that ain't my style. (oh shut up). But looking at that picture on page one, is that an old pic? Because if so, he must have made hella improvements in time for the party. Or else that party was attended by some really, really, like, not-jacked-at-all guys. He looks soft in that pic. Not even going into my opinion of his size as I don't know if he juices (never paid much attention to his posts that much) and I do juice so it would be an unfair perspective for a juicer to talk about someone size who is natural. But he has ZERO muscle seperation or definition in that pic. You can't any of his deltoid heads. No seperation along the upper arm, and not even any clear forearm extendors showing. No vascularity at all, not even in the underside of the forearms. Maybe it is bad lighting, I don't know. Maybe it is an old pic (I hope so), but based on what I have seen, a personal trainer looking like that in CA where health is an obsession would have a hard time scratching up clients.

Not knocking him because some people as it was pointed out, do burn out on law careers. However, he has not had his career very long. And while I can understand wanting to leave the suit and tie working stiff situation behind, I would have thought someone leaving that for something like a personal trainer career would at least look the part.
