Anyone here into Astral Projection?

A few years ago I would've said bullshit but since I have had numerous out-of-body experiences. I haven't really been able to accomplish much with them in real world terms but it is possible. Im here to tell you firsthand when you hear about remote viewing and such........it's all true. Last week I woke up in Kentucky. After the experience I was able to name 3 towns that i've never been to or heard of. Never been to Kentucky either. I was standing in the middle of a waterfall which I described nect morning as small and reminded me of Niagra. Looking at the atlas I discovered Cumberland Falls which was between the cities I was in and looked it up on the net. The site described it as a small version of Niagra. Just one of many experiences.

Trust me, this is different from dreaming. Sometimes it's as real as your sitting there reading this right now. What I have gained from this is a different outlook on things such as death because I know its possible to be in another existence because i've done it.

This really isn't a topic to discuss in the real world because most will proclaim you are nucking futs. But since this is a chat room oh well. All I can say is that i've been there and done that so beleive it or not. Whats funny are the little groups that have the little punk assholes that practice this for years with no luck and get on my case. I assure them they will be lucky to have a wet dream. I've been told eventually they will seek out my advice but if I should somehow get a glimpse of the future loto numbers I wont be around to give it.

I find astral projection really intriguing. I read a book on it a few years ago when I was younger, but I've never actually done it... I remember trying it a few times using the techniques described in the book I read, but I fell asleep. :D Very interesting stuff though...maybe I'll read up on it some more. It'd be neat to try again.

did you try asking for your old account back? they probably would let you have it

i believe your story bro, i've had many weird deja vu, visions, that have come true, i do believe what you said. fascinating

I havnt yet--was thinking about it. Really doesnt matter a whole lot to me. Heres one--we were in Lawrence KS a few weeks ago behind a Harley. My brotherinlaw was in the back seat and said he wish he had one. I said me also but I wont because that car at the intersection a block away will probably pull out in front of him, Guess what? Yep. He got seriously injurerd.

The same brotherinlaw visited me in ICU at KU med and I woke up in the middle of his visit and chewed his ass about being careful when doing electrical work..what was funny is that he was on his way to his gf's house to rewire some stuff and he said they were Extremely cautious--esp. since this was the 2nd experience i've had around him.

the military has been doing it for years...recently, have "hushed" the program....i know a few who are capable. I would like to know if i have what it takes to do it...you have a gift.

rsnoble, how did you become interested in astral projection? any good reads/websites you've found interesting? i'd love to read some more about it.

I did it once during my sleep back in my college days, wasn't even trying. I had a "dream" that I was floating up against the ceiling of my one bud's dorm room, he and his girlfriend were up playing Mortal Kombat on his PC while drinking beer and eating pretzels. The next day I made a joking comment about who kicked who's ass at MK last night, they were literally stunned. So was I when I realized (after describing my dream in detail) that everything I dreamed about had been real, like I was right there.

For years after that incident I read up on it from many books. Even to this day I often have dreams that I am flying or going to places that I don't recognize, so I think I do this in my sleep. I just can't control it. I've tried meditation and waking astral projection but never was successful. There have been a handful of times when I think I may have had some degree of control, but I honestly don't know if any of it was real or just a dream. If not for that one incident in college I would have thought they all were dreams.

I kind of stopped even trying once I got married, I just lost interest and got frustrated. I may have to start researching it again, it would be really sweet to be able to control something like that.

wow. very interesting.

you guys have piqued my interest in this subject once again!

I would love to learn more about it. I have read a couple of books that deal with the subject, but nothing explicity about it in great detail. I have had a few experiences, but nothing big. Things like this are so interesting. They go beyond what we know and expect in our lives.

I didn't really become interested in it and learn to do it. It's just something that started happening. I never studied it opr anything. In fact it wasn't till a few months ago that I found out what I was doing was called Astral Projection. I had never heard of it. The experiences became so profound that I looked into it and discovered what I was doing. I have had less experiences since my accident because I convinced myself to slow down till I recover for fear of taking my weaknesses out of body with me and running into something bad which i've done before. An expert is convinced I had an encounter with a poltergeist. Yes boys and girls, you read that right.

Done it a couple of times, and it is beyond words. Can't do it at will, despite studying and trying. But the couple of times I did it only strengthened my belief that there is more to us and our consciousness than just our physical bodies.I hope to one day be able to do it at will.
