Anyone here have an Akita?

I'm thinking of getting one, I wanna know how they are as pets. I know they can be pretty vicious sometimes and I have a cat, I don't need to come home to a dead cat.

my good buddy had one in college. loved the dog, especially after it bit my girlfriend. dumb shit put her hand near its mouth when it was eating.

I heard he bit a kid though and they had to put him down.

I have a pet giraffe.. it is okay

eats all the trees which is annoying

I had a female akita. The are great dogs, just make sure you buy one from a reputable breeder.
