anyone have this problem?

Currently I am on eq, which is making me incredibly hungry. Well, I wake up a few times during the night when I go to sleep. I wake up so hungry. Well, I am half out of it and then look in the fridge and see all the junk food my family eats. Well, it is so hard to lay off of it. I eat so healthy throughout the day, but when I wake up late at night and am half asleep and starving, sometimes I just binge on junk food. I have been pounding down cake, cookies, ice cream, anything that looks good. It is so hard to resist. I am trying to lean out on this cycle so the carbs late at night or not good. I was just wondering if anyone else is slamming down junk food late at night like me.

I too wake up starving throughout the night. Instead of eating crap, I either down a glass of water, or I eat some chicken that I always make sure is there for me if I feel the need to eat that late.
 
I keep a protein shake ready for those late night hunger pains - or grab a bowl of cottage cheese and fruit. Quick and lite on the stomach. Eating heavy before (or in the middle of) sleeping diverts energy needed for healing by instead using it for digestion.
 
I got a buddy who has the same problem. I've told him to try and just eat protein/low carbs/0fat but it just doesn't work. You could try and up the carbs throughout the day so your not craving them so much at night. Make dm sure you do cardio in the morn if you binge. Try an appetite supressant before bed.
You need to either not eat or fill up on protein, no fat cottage cheese will do the trick. As hard as it is just stuff in the cottage cheese instead of the crap and you'll be full. This is probably one of the worst problems you can have. Good luck:D
 
Thanks for the replies guys. I will definitely try some of your tips. Last night I was a good boy. I woke up and downed a bottle of water and had 3 scoops of whey protein. For now on when I wake up, I will just think that eating junk food is not going to help me.
