If so, close your fucking account and tell them to kiss your ass. After over 2 years of service, I'm told that since I changed my plan after a year that my time with their service only counts as one year. I broke my phone and wanted to get a new one and they tell me that I am elligible (sp) for a whopping 75 fucking bucks off. If I was to wait for one more year I could get the whole 150 bucks off and still pay 50 bucks for the oldest and biggest piece of shit phone they got. Not to mention they charged me for a phone order that was cancelled within the hour it was ordered and now I'm still waiting for the motherfuckers to give me my money back!!

yea they get you when you use that credit option to get a new phoe. unfortunately i just got the new audiovox ppc-6600 pocket pc which im using right now 2 post here and i love the service so i cant cancel. but i do feel for you bro....

if you get cingular and change your numbr they start your contract back to month one
I had AT&T and when they merged, cingular had a good deal with a cool flip phone and they didnt tell me at the time but when i changed over, they started my contract over
which sucked

i think all cell phone companies start the contract over when you buy a new phone through them. they usually give you a discount on the new phone so they redo your contract. but if you buy the phone outright they dont redo the contract.

oh i dont know, but I didnt buy a new phone i just switched from AT&T to cingular because they told me that it would be better if i did, and i did and they didnt tell me that i had to renew my contract to do so. IMO they are the same company and shoudnt have done it

It depends on where you need coverage. Every provider has it's good/weak spots...you have to find a carrier that provides good service where you need it most.

One benefit of going from T-Mo to Cingular is that you can use the same cell phone provided you get it unlocked (since both are GSM), so if you don't want to buy a new one or sign a contract to get a discount on a phone you can use the same one you have now. Just get it unlocked, pop the new Cingular SIM in and you're good to go.
