I am in jacksonville, got friends in tallahassee, panama city, destin and p cola. where ya headed?
 
renting a 6 bedroom house right on a beach in destin mid august.. party time...

Hey, I resemble that remark. Do not use last years housing cost estimates. Prices have gone up 20% since Ivan in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties anyway. There are still people living in FEMA trailers.

My folks own homes in various parts of the country. The garage of the Pensacola home is..........no longer. The Florida insurance company went belly up.

Home values soared???????????????????

realestate on the panhandle is actually up 30%....its retarted and cant explain it..but i just bought a peice of land....and am going to build a home there on the water....not ocean...too risky IHO....

Yes, scarcity of property has caused a lot of heating in the market here. Actual number is 18.3% increase in median sale price Jan 2004 to Jan 2005. Next report should be an even higher change, because it's a very common complaint from the locals.
