Anyone from Quebec city....HELP!!!

I'm taking my GF to Quebec city next weekend and I need some help figuring out where to stay and what to do.


ANy ideas????????

From what I rememer

Hotel: Chateau Frontenac is still the best. Then you have all those 3-4 stars hotel.

Restaurants: La Caravel (on La Grande Allée), Serge Bruyere and the one of the Chateau Frontenac.

Clubs: Le Dagobert oldest club in town. the Liquid, good place to get laid but well you're going with your GF so..... lol

BTW go visit the "Vieux Quebec" (Old part of the town). Thats the only thing worth something in Quebec city.

Isn't the chateau REALLY expensive???

not really expensive. From what I remember less expensive than going to the Ritz. Caravel is located on the Grande Allée Ave. Carriage rides ? yes of course in the Old part

How about the Lowes Le Concorde...I think it's up the hill from frontenac...I stayed there years ago on a ski trip, it was really nice and not overly expensive.

Yes...

it has the rotating resturant..is it still the Lowes?? I'm talking years since I've been there...but from what I remember there were some nice caberets right on that same street with outdoor dining in the summer and it is right on the river...and has an awesome view of the old city.
