I grew up on Lake Superior - nothing like seeing an ice flow out on the lake durign a warm spell in March w/ a bunch of fishing shacks on it... hope someone brought a boat....

Hardly. The twin cities alone are more appealing than anything in NJ imo. Then you have all the naturalistic stuff if you're the outdoor type. Best of both worlds. Plus MN has a lot of essential natural resources, iron ore being a major one.

Toronto is actually a cool city, for Canada anyway.
It's very clean from what I remember.

I love Lake Superior in the winter.

Beach by my house back home-

I've run to the farthest point in the distance, and then some (in the summer, of course).
