anyone experience hives while using transdermals?

I'm interested in trying sustain alpha and dermacrine but I must say im a little hesitant because about 4 years back I used 1-ad and a transdermal 4-ad and I broke out in hives and had to go to the hospital...I wasnt sure if the 1-test caused it (people reported allergies to 1-test) or if maybe my reaction was caused by a skin allergy to the 4-ad transdermal cream...anyone have any thoughts on this? or has anyone experienced any skin discomfort while using dermacrine or sustain?
