Anyone ever performed vacuums.

Vacuum - Perform vacuum holds by exhaling and simultaneously sucking in your midsection; hold midsection in for up to one minute while continuing to breathe.

I have seen in a few books where people do this. Any truth or benefit to it.

Please keep this positive, thanks for the information.
 
wondering the same thing, guy in the gym told me to suck in for 25 to 30 seconds and then do situps. It seems to be working, if its not in my mind...lol
