As the title says, has anyone here ever tried injecting only half an inch deep? I have had some bad pip, soreness, and swelling when I inject quads with a 1" needle, quads just are not my sweet spot.
Today I decided to cut the top of the needle cap to where my needle would be about a half inch. I plunged it in my quad, did a 1.5ml injection, did not feel a thing, barely even felt the normal pressure inside the muscle I usually feel when injecting. Pulled the needle out and drop of oil came out with it but I quickly covered it with my thumb and applied light pressure and no more escaped after that as I monitored it.
While quad injecting is normally not very smooth with me, this was the best injection I have ever done and about 6 hours later I can not even tell I injected earlier. Zero soreness, swelling, or anything. I am quite lean so maybe that is my sweet spot in the muscle tissue. Any opinions on this?
