Anyone ever get a bad Window Tint job?

So far I am unimpressed with the tint on my car.

It's a high grade tint, but mainly the application looks a little rushed. There's a gap between the tint and the top of the window where its clear glass - thats fine, I expected that. But on each window the gap is significantly different in size. It looks cheeze ball to me.

Also, its pealing on the driver side door already - I think thats my fault cause I rolled the window down 2 days after getting the tint job (I will not tell them this though).

Anyone have bad experiences?

the gaps I can live with, that is just part of the game.

any type of peeling, bubbling, or color change within the first year is unacceptable.

I went with the highest grade tint film and the best shop in town and 4 years later my tint looks brand new.

as far as the gaps go

the driver door has a gap of 0.350" while the passenger has a gap of 0.050" - thats seven times distance for the driver side door.

my tint is as high grade as you can get with metallics, highest heat rejection - unless you go with a ceramic mix. Life time warranty too

take it back, a reputable shop will do it again right.

I got the 6 speed toyota corolla XRS too. Not quite the car you got - but its still fun to drive.

And I can say "thanks mom" too hahaha.

I know this Chinaman that does it awsome. He charges only $30 a window which isn't all that expensive.. and my tints go all the way to the edges, no bubbles. He doesn't speak a word of english, and he looks like the little chinese gymnist from Oceans's Eleven. And lifetime warentee. He replaced a tint my dog scratched up free of charge. I'm glad I found him cuz I'm really anal when I don't get things done the way I want them.

the gap really bugs me - a lot. Once the window is rolled up the gap shouldn't be noticable, but on the outside of the driver side it is a little noticable. It really bugs me.

When all the windows are part way down its noticable that all of them are not the same.
