Anyone else want to rob me blind?

My car was broken into for the second time in 6 months.

Incident 1:

Stole approximately $3,000 in merchandise from my car to include, two sets of golf clubs, two ten inch subwoofers, a CD player, a camera, a pair of Ray Bans, 200 CD's, a tennis racket.

Incident 2 (last night):

Stole approximately $900 in merchandise to include my new CD player, my new Ray Bans, Precision Power amplifier, checkbook.

The first time i was lucky enough to be covered under my parents homeowners policy through a technicality. I think I actually made money on that one. This time, I'm not so lucky, and I'm pretty much going to have to eat the cost of all of this shit. This sucks.

bro, I hate to state the obvious but you gotta stop leaving shit in your car. I'm wondering if the Ray Bans caught the burglars eye.

I imagine the amp was under your seat right? or was it in the trunk? Where was the CD player?

And where exactly do you live.

My sub would be easy to take since it's not bolted in, but my stereo would be impossible to take. It's actually bolted onto the dash frame. It's easy to get out if you remove the glovebox, the center dash panel, 1 or 2 other trim pieces, and have a wrench set.

My only worry is that some stupid hood will try to steal it and get pissed that it won't just pull out and procede to fuck all my shit up.

Why doesn't your auto insurance cover it. When my stereo got jacked I didn't even have to pay a deductible. I made money on that as well.

Amp bolted to the back of my back seat (trunk), Ray Bans in the glove box, CD player in dash.

They broke into two other cars as well. I live in Atlanta in a very nice neighborhood.

Yeah my stero got jacked when I was in Atlanta as well. I was downtown though. How did they get in your trunk. Please don't tell me that you have a trunk release in your car that operates. The first thing I did when I put a system in my car was diasble that mechanism.

Um, you can disable that? Yeah they got in the car and popped the trunk. I know I'm a moron.

Yeah it's easy to disable it. Probably 90% of people wouldn't know to disable it though. The only reason that I knew to do it was because there were ton's of cars that got broken into where I use to live in California and it was just common practice there.

Funny thing is when my deck got stolen they were trying to get at my amps through the back seat! Morons! I had my check book in my glove compartment, and they left it in there. I had a book with at least 100 CD's in it, and they left that as well. I guess that they didn't like Too $hort.
