Anyone else had this injury?

Im asking because the physiotherapist that I helped me said that it was quite common among bodybuilders.

The problem was that the muscles (rhomboids, infraspinatus) in the middle of my back was not getting very strong and so when I did exercises like bench press and shoulder press my back gave up and forced my traps to do "all the work" this in turn pulled my shoulder blades out of position.

I have been off for 7/8 months and hope that this shit never happens to anyone. Its fucking painfull.
 
I don't know if I have this exact problem, but I've had something painful going on in that area for a while now. It is painful to breath sometimes, and it especially hurts when I do heavy incline or military presses. Either way, I know what you are going through! I just stretch a lot and monitor it carefully, but still lift.
 
Stretch out bro! Get rid of those imbalances! Start doing rows. Do more pulling than pushing. Injuries Suck, sounds like you sufferred from typical BB disease of just working what you see. Hit that back up, you'll be OK.
